Drive-By Turkey Tuesday will be in the Martin Luther King Jr. Parking lot. Residents can drive through or walk up to get a free turkey for Thanksgiving. 

There will be a maximum of three (3) turkeys per car if there are three (3) adults in the car. Or, an adult can walk up to receive one (1) turkey.

The Turkey Tuesday pickup route will go counterclockwise around the Martin Luther King Jr. Center parking lot. Drivers will turn into the parking lot, proceed to the right, follow the route around to the entrance/exit, turn right onto Eastview Place and then turn right onto Greenhaven Drive.

Please Help support Turkey Tuesday Friends, your support is always needed to help those less fortunate in our community. Spread Thanksgiving cheer and appreciation by donating turkeys or cash to Turkey Tuesday. You can donate cash or checks to help buy turkeys. You can also buy turkeys and drop them off at the Martin Luther King Jr. Center from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. the day of the event. Make Checks payable to "The Freedman Cultural Center," one of the nonprofit partners for this year’s Turkey Giveaway. Be sure to add "Turkey Donation" in the check or app memo line.  Mail checks to "Turkey Tuesday Donation, 427 Sharon Ave NW, Lenoir, NC 28645." Turkeys will be purchased with any monetary donations.
